This exhibit considers the influence of early “cabinets of curiosity” on university museums, whose collections similarly reflect the intellectual curiosity of past faculty, students, and community members.

This exhibit uses pottery from the museum's permanent collection to tell the story of Casas Grandes (also known as Paquimé), an Indigenous archaeological site in northwestern Chihuahua.
