Upcoming Events

We regularly host events, speaker series, and workshops that draw from our mission as a teaching institution dedicated to research and collaborative outreach. These events are all free and open to the public.

During the fall semester of 2020, we have a series of sponsored and collaborative events adapted to the COVID-19 environment and the closing of the museum's exhibition spaces.

  • Career Development Series "Ask a Professional: Careers in Anthropology" - Ongoing

  • Archaeology Day 2020 - October 17th - Co-organized withthe Branigan Cultural Center and the Bureau of Land Management. Pick up at-home archaeology kits and listen to a panel dicussion on different perspectives on archaeology.

To learn more about any of these events you can click on the fliers below or contact Museum Outreach Coordinator Lindsey Cron (lmcron@nmsu.edu). If you are an educator interested in school programs at the museum, you can learn more here.
