Our Outreach Initiatives

The University Museum supports local, state, national, and global communities through educational outreach and collaborative activities. The museum strives to make its experiences accessible to the broadest possible audience and enriching for the university and local community.

We do this by collaborating with other NMSU departments and community partners to host events, both within the museum space and outside of it. We regularly host events for Indigenous Peoples' day, welcome K-12 school groups to the museum for tours and workshops, collaborate with other local museums, and host volunteer days for the community.

You can find more about our upcoming events for a variety of audiences, group activities in collaboration with educators, and volunteer opportunities here.
