Madera Black-On-Red Jar

During the Medio Period-the time of their fluorescence-Casas Grandes people only created one type of bichrome pottery. Archaeologists are not sure where the idea for Madera Black-on-Red came from. Does this vessel look like any of the other red wares in the exhibit? Could other red wares be a source of inspiration for this one?
