Octavius Seowtewa: This was probably a lot longer. You would put it on a fence post or a limb where you know that there’s birds. You put the other end through here and just lay it on top and tie it to the tree. When the bird sits down and flies away, the claw gets underneath, and it snaps it (the snare) shut. This side broke off, but its still a bird snare.
