Octavius Seowtewa: So, this one is a grass bundle. You can see the root. The dark portion is the root. You can see the roots on it where a bundle of grass that was pulled out from the root. And they didn’t need to bundle it together because the roots are what is holding it together and it was used as a brush for manos1 and metates2. To clean the metate, the manos, to get the corn particles and flour out.
